Follicular phase
- LH가 theca cell을 자극해서 Androstenedione(ADD)의 생성 촉진
- FSH의 자극을 받은 granulosa cell에서 ADD의 aromatization 촉진으로 Estradiol로 전환 증가
이 시기에 granulosa cell에서 생성되는 inhibin B에 의해 뇌하수체에서 FSH의 분비 감소
Luteal phase
** theca-lutein cell과 granulosa-lutein cell사이 basement membrance 사라짐.
- theca cell & granulosa cell 모두에서 LH receptor가 증가
- granulosa-lutein cell에서 progesterone 생성
